Here's a tricky one. I don't love any bag that I own. I really need a new bag, in fact i almost bought the Mulberry bag at Target but I need one that I can throw over my shoulder and go. So I have a Guess purse that is cute, just not a "favorite." I've had a few Guess purses and I think they're cute...I get bored with bags pretty often.
Usually, if I'm running errands or going out for a nice dinner, I'll just take my Coach wristlet that my sister got for me for my birthday. It's too cute. I need to get a purse to match. I'm heading to the outlets this weekend so we'll see what happens.
Don't mind the mess in the background ;)
See you tomorrow!

Confession
So I have something to confess. I hate the blog challenge I'm currently partaking in. I promise all of you that I'm not "quitting" this challenge, in fact, I'm only replacing it. I came across another 30 Day Challenge, this one being a Beauty version. Right up my alley. If you add this challenge to my old challenge, that's 35 days in a row. So I'm doing pretty good then, huh? Here we go with the new challenge.
Day 01 — Your favorite eyeliner
Day 02 — Your favorite bag that you own
Day 03 — Your favorite brush
Day 04 — Your favorite foundation
Day 05 — Your favorite thing to do
Day 06 — Anything Hello Kitty
Day 07 — Your Favorite animal
Day 08 — A photo that makes you laugh
Day 09 — Your favorite pair of shoes
Day 10 — Current fashion/style you like
Day 11 — Bag you want to have
Day 12 — Your Favorite color
Day 13 — Photo of your fashion/style icon
Day 14 — Photo of a hairstyle/haircut you'd like to have
Day 15 — Photo of your favorite bracelet
Day 16 — Music you like
Day 17 — Fashion Pieces that's on your to-buy list
Day 18 — Your favorite beauty guru
Day 19 — Your favorite look from a beauty guru
Day 20 — Your favorite mascara
Day 21 — Your favorite lip stick
Day 22 — What makes you happy
Day 23 — Place where you want to live
Day 24 — Your favorite food
Day 25 — What do you want to get from luux
Day 26 — An Item from your wishlist
Day 27 — Your favorite skincare product
Day 28 — Your favorite drink
Day 29 — Photo of something that makes you go awww
Day 30 — Your favorite nail polish
Day 01 — Your favorite eyeliner
Out of all the eyeliners I've tried, high end and drugstore, my favorite has got to be L'Oreal HIP Color Chrome Eyeliner.
I have the black one but I'm considering picking up every color. I wouldn't wear this eyeliner for a dramatic cat eye or a blunt straight line but for every day use this one is a winner. I draw a line on the upper and lower lash lines, smudge them out and put a BareMinerals shadow over the top. It takes about two minutes but looks like it took 20. I absolutely love these liners, they are softer than any I've tried, including Urban Decay 24/7 (which are amazing as well).
The Black Shock HIP Liner is so black it's almost blue and simply gorgeous. I will definitely repurchase.

Day 5 - Your siblings
I have two sisters. Kathryn is 20, she lives with her boyfriend about 30 minutes from me and Alexandra who's 16. We call her Al, she's a character. I have two step brothers that live out of state Christopher and Alexis. Alexis is married with a baby and they are moving back to Michigan in January. I also have a step-sister named Adrian who lives here.

Day 4 - Your parents
My parents.
My parents have been divorced since I was 7 years old. I lived with my mom until I was 21 and I moved to my dad's for a change of scenery, moved back to my moms for about 6 months and then moved into the house I'm in now with my boyfriend.
I don't really see my dad often, we don't go to his side of the family but maybe once a year for a barbecue in the summer but I get to see my mom everyday because I work in the same building with her.
Well that's all I have to say about that for now. Sorry for the boring post!
See ya tomorrow!

Day 3-Your first love
My first love was a guy I met at work. We met when I was 17 and he was 18, working for the grounds department. It was a really fun time for a while. We would hang out every day at work and after.
It didn't end well...actually, for the last year and a half of the relationship he was completely hurtful towards me. I won't get into details but lets just say I should have gotten out long before it ended.
I'm over it now, and good thing because I wouldn't be as happy as I am now if I had dwelled on it any longer. It took me a long time to get over the relationship but it was an experience and I won't forget it. Believe it or not, it taught me a lot about myself so I'm grateful for that.

I figure if I start today, the challenge will be completed the Sunday after Thanksgiving, and I'll be ready to be done by then because the holiday season will be in full effect. Here we go...
Day 1-Introduce, recent picture, 15 interesting facts
Okay, most of you who read this blog know that my name is Liz, I'm 23 years old and I live in Michigan.
This is the only picture I could find of me by myself that was taken recently. I took it mainly because I had just gotten a new hair color and I really like it on me! I think I'll keep it...
Okay, 15 Interesting Facts:
I'm not sure how interesting these facts will be but I'll try my best.
1. I'm obsessed with Tim Tebow. He is one of the most attractive guys I've ever seen and an awesome (I don't care what people say) football player.
2. I love cheese. It's the best food on the planet.
3. The only commercial I hate more than the Swiffer ones are the new Burger King ones.
4. When I read something in a magazine, even if I'm not interested in the article, if I start reading it, I have to finish.
5. My hair grows really really fast.
6. I don't really like Halloween.
7. I get a weird feeling when I go into a Big Lots or Tuesday Morning store. I don't know if it's the 1-of-each-product on the shelf thing, the bright lights or the unbelievable slow service, I just feel uncomfortable.
8. I don't like when people talk with the back of their throats when saying certain words with G's. Like "Grapes" or "Grand." The Tyson Chicken lady and the dentist from the toothpaste commercial have horrible voices.
9. I make lists for everything.
10. No matter how small of a place I am, I will lose the remote.
11. I have had my hair every color in the book. Almost all of them during my Senior year of High School.
12. I can't decide if I want a dog or not.
13. I will never understand promos for shows that are supposed to be funny. The Soup, Chelsea Lately and George Lopez Tonight commercials are always stupid and never funny.
14. I could watch Steel Magnolias every day and not get sick of it. Same goes for the Wizard of Oz.
15. The only thing I love more than Fall is the time period between Halloween and New Year's.

What's New?
So I'm sitting in bed, Full House is on in the background and I'm wide awake. It's 8:02am, I don't have to be to work until 12:30. The worst part is that it's raining so it feels like it's 4am and it's one of those days where you just want to stay in bed with your sweats on (especially with this cramp I'm currently experiencing) and do exactly as I'm doing...watch Full House re-runs. No, strike that. The worst part about today is that I know when I get to work, I have so many big tasks to complete. I hate going to work and knowing that I'm going to get sweaty and disgusting and there's nothing I can do to prevent it. I'm also going to my mom's house straight from work to celebrate my sister's birthday so no shower for me until later! I really am just waiting for Friday. This weekend is going to be great because it's one of those weekends where we have nothing planned. The boyfriend and I are going to get some hay bales, corn stalks and pumpkins to put out and we'll probably go to Dixboro for some cider and home decorating ideas. This is the most exciting time of the year, we've planted our mums, I have my autumn leave door mat out and a scarecrow on the door. Yes, I wish I was Martha Stewart.
Anyway September has been like a month of new beginnings for me. I started Weight Watchers on Tuesday. It's a lot easier than I'd thought it would be. It's all about choices now. I used to eat whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted it. That's not the way eating is supposed to be. I'm changing myself so that I'll eat what's good for me most of the time and treat myself on special occasions. Now I can choose, do I want 1 cookie or a whole bowl of salad with chicken? I'm proud of myself so far because I haven't given up or cheated. I've been tempted...believe me! But I want to be healthy and thinner more than I want some french fries. I have about 93 pounds to lose so I have a long road ahead of me. Hopefully by this time next year I'll feel comfortable going to holiday parties and looking good at them. My only regret is that I wish I started this sooner. I'm not going to beat myself up about it, though because you have to be completely commited and motivated to start such a big journey like this, or else you won't be successful. I'm finally ready.
Along with Weight Watchers, I've been exercising. I know I'd lose weight just following my points alone but I want to speed it up and also gain some strength. I used to run, in fact, I ran every weekday morning for over 8 weeks. But my shins were killing me, I thought over time they wouldn't hurt so bad but they do. I have shin splints and I don't want to hurt them even more so I decided to get exercise in other ways. Yesterday I started Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. She used to annoy me really bad. I know she's a tough trainer but I just hate how cheesy she is on commercials. I designed my website for you *points at the camera* but I trust her because she used to be big. I know some personal trainers probably have good advice but how do they know what will work for me if they've grown up skinny little kids that decided to lift weights? Anyway I kept hearing how hard it was but I thought "No way is an at-home workout dvd going to be hard for me." I was wrong. I was so wrong. I did Level 1 of the dvd last night, on the easiest level and I worked up a sweat more than I did running in 90 degree weather. I'm definitely going to be sore later. But I'm gonna keep at it. I'm going to make myself do it for thirty days straight. I plan to do Level 1 for two weeks, Level 2 for one week and Level 3 for one week as well. I hope I'm more toned when I'm done. I should notice a change, after eating my points for a month while doing the shred...I hope.
Another challenge I decided to do (I don't have enough on myplate mind right now, right) is the 10 day blog challenge. This challenge will be, well, challenging for me because I don't write in this blog as much as I should, let alone every single day. But I will. I feel empowered so there's no better time to start this than now. My next post will be about the 10 Day Challenge so keep an eye out for that.
Wow, I managed to write a whole post without one mention of makeup? I'm going to have to change the name of my blog! Most beauty related posts to come as well...in fact, I think that after the 10 day challenge, I'm going to attempt the 30 Day Challenge and then after that, the beauty edition. Talk at you guys later! Thanks for reading :)
